Where evidence
meets conscience

We work with charities, foundations and NGOs who believe good evidence should serve the people it concerns — not only those who commission it.

"Articulating your theory of change
through your data structure."

Who we are

Institutions are human networks.
Data should serve them.

Organisations are not abstract structures. They are networks of people, held together by shared intention, by habit and history, by the decisions made at every level about what matters and what gets counted; what counts.

Data systems are the same. A database is not neutral. A dashboard is not objective. Every choice about what to measure, how to collect it and who can see it reflects a set of values — usually invisible, often unconsidered, sometimes at odds with the mission the organisation believes it is living.

Integrity Impact Consulting works at that intersection: between the systems organisations build and the human intentions those systems are meant to serve. We help organisations make that alignment conscious, honest and durable — so that the evidence they generate is not just credible to funders, but genuinely useful to the people doing the work and the communities living inside it.

Distilling Meaning.

Work with us

Evidence in service of people

Evaluation answers first to the communities a programme is meant to benefit — not only to funders or governance structures.

Holding knowledge, not extracting it

We engage with organisational and community knowledge as guests — learning from it, and leaving it more legible than we found it.

Decentralising, not concentrating

Data and evidence, in the wrong structure, can be instruments of control. We design systems that redistribute information.

Saying what we find

Honest findings — even difficult ones — are the most useful thing we can offer. We communicate with care. We do not communicate with omission.

What we do

Six areas of practice

Data alchemy for organisations that mean it — from high-stakes investment decisions to the data systems that make change legible.

01

Strategy & Investment Analytics

Scenario modelling, cost-benefit and SROI analysis, investment cases and strategic options appraisal. Bringing analytical rigour to high-stakes decisions so that choices are made with clear eyes and honest numbers.

02

Impact Measurement & Evaluation

Theory of Change design, KPI frameworks, realist and developmental evaluation, quasi-experimental methods, and external evaluator management. Evaluation that serves learning, not only compliance.

03

Data Systems & Architecture

Infrastructure built from the theory of change outward. Power BI, M&E system design, data audits and practical systems for teams without dedicated data resource. The alchemy of making data usable.

04

AI Governance & Data Ethics

Responsible AI frameworks, ethical data governance, EU AI Act compliance guidance, and advisory support for organisations navigating the governance and equity dimensions of artificial intelligence.

05

Knowledge Preservation & Institutional Learning

Capturing what organisations and communities know before it is lost — through leadership transitions, programme closures, or the quiet erosion of institutional memory. Including culturally grounded approaches.

06

Realist & Developmental Evaluation

For programmes that are complex, adaptive and deeply embedded in human context. Asking not just "did it work?" but "what works, for whom, in what conditions, and why?" — the questions that actually matter.

How we work

The way we try to work

These are not aspirations. They are the commitments we hold ourselves to in every engagement.

Honesty before comfort

We report what we find, not what we think will be well received. Honest findings, communicated with care — but never softened into uselessness.

Starting with what is already known

Every organisation and community holds knowledge worth understanding before any external framework is introduced. We begin there.

Not transplanting, preserving

Western technocratic frameworks carry assumptions. We hold them consciously, and centre community knowledge as a legitimate source of rigorous evidence.

Leaving capacity, not dependency

We design our work to build internal capability — so that what we develop together remains useful and owned long after our involvement ends.

Working within what we know

We are honest about the limits of our expertise. We do not take on engagements where we cannot genuinely contribute — and we say so, early.

Fair pricing

Our rates are transparent and consistent. We offer reduced fees for small, grassroots and community-based organisations where our values align.
